Intro Gun Training

I picked up a Zelder a while back and I never got the quest? I've been standing around outside of Hillwen for a while now...

Infodude575 (talk)10:32, 7 August 2013

Intro quests are for talent users.

Proceed with the Dual Gun Basics quest. You can start the Dual Gun Basics quest when you have a Dual Guns equipped.

Doubt about bullets

Anyone knows if the bullets requires inventory space like arrows and alchemy crystals?? or they´re just mana energy? and the bullets have to be crafted? or they can be buy/recharged at the npcs? o.o

Aria (talk)21:58, 19 March 2013

2x2 inventory space. Purchasable at npcs, presumably.

Stacks up to 500, iirc.

Bullets are automatic and unlimited. You do not need to buy or make bullets. However, there are SPECIAL bullets that are 2x2 you put in your inventory. These bullets increases your gun damage. They work similar to alchemy crystal in that each time you reload, you consume "1" magic bullet. They can stack up to 500 or 500 reloads.

Miyuna (talk)22:04, 19 March 2013

Really? oh. I bought them cause I thought i needed them. :C

They're not needed, however it's recommended to have it because it's still a damage increase. The extra damage is shown in blue on the weapon, it will show like 21~34 (+5) with the +5 being the extra damage from the special bullets.

Miyuna (talk)22:10, 19 March 2013

Exactly how powerful are bullets?

Infodude575 (talk)00:01, 20 March 2013

I think anywhere from +5~+15?

Miyuna (talk)07:03, 20 March 2013

Just to clarify, this is what I understand, not sure if it's correct. 1 reload=whole clip, it's not 1 bullet in a clip=1 bullet in inventory.

Pyro - (Talk)13:51, 20 March 2013

To reload means to ditch the clip, empty or not, and put in a new clip. The bullets in the inventory is more of a clip than number of bullets. I don't know the mechanics entirely, but that sounds the most logical.

S•A•R•I•A (talk)16:04, 20 March 2013

They should, during localization, name them magazines rather than bullets. The icon looks like some fat glowstick, though.

They should. The above person is right. Whether you reload at empty clip or full clip or 32/64... it will consume 1 bulllet in the inventory. It stacks to 500 so you have 500 "reloads".

Miyuna (talk)07:09, 22 March 2013

Then it's not a bullet but a Clip/Magazine/Ammo Cartridge/Drum magazine type thingy...

S•A•R•I•A (talk)07:11, 22 March 2013

I agree... but the English translation devCat gave was: Magic Bullet for Beginners, Magic Bullet, and Magic Bullet HD

Miyuna (talk)04:26, 23 March 2013

Not sure where to post it but I thought I'd mention here that, since the balancing update in KR, bullets ARE required to use guns. (Where previously, bullets just increased damage and were optional.) Not sure if we'll get that from the getgo when it comes to our serve or if we'll have to wait on the balancing update from that requirement. (I don't think the balancing update is out of the test server yer.)

Pyro - (Talk)13:10, 8 April 2013

It's not :(
