It's used to duplicate items. According to that page, it's also used for a "Synthesized Violet," whatever that is. --Aramet (Talk) 05:51, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Also it looks like a requirement to obtain Flame Burst. Synthesized Violet is for part of G9S2, created via Violet (Special Fiodh Drop from a pass), Arat Crystal and a White Herb. Reward is Friend of Pierrick's title. --DarkWyvern 17:28, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
