Up to 3 hits

I've been using Act 7 for quite some time now, and I don't recall ever dealing 3 hits with Act 7. Could this be rank dependent? I'm at rank 6.

The three hits are there, and no its not rank dependent. Its just hard to achieve because Nexon made it harder in order to balance out this skill (it used to do four hits at most).

Act 7 targets the monster's hitbox center, so you're going to want to position your marionette even closer to the monster, just about in hugging range. Hope this helps.

Usually you'll only get 2 hits, but 3 is definitely possible. Much easier to get on really big monsters though. Infodude made me laugh a bit though: "Nexon made it harder in order to balance out this skill" - Implying the skill is balanced in any way :D

How large are we talking? I've been trying on bears and the max I could get was 2.

I've been able to strike thrice on normal shadow mobs.

Also FYI Dante, back then Act 7 did 550% * 4 = 2,200% damage, and the 4th hit wasn't to difficult to achieve if I remember correctly. Now it does 25% less of that of that and its more difficult to have the 3rd hit, hit.

That doesn't mean they actually tried to balance it though. That skill is still by far the most OP skill in the game right now. Everybody knows this so I just laughed at how you worded it.

Overpowered yes. Balanced? ehh blame those multipliers.

haha...it might be late (and obviously going crazy), but I seriously doubt it goes to 5000% like that o-o....

If it hitted 9 times, it would, but it doesn't. Unless you mean critical hit.

Infodude575 (talk)09:32, 14 September 2013

And you've been able to deal 3 hits way prior to your current rank? From which marionette are these results coming from?

My Act 7 was already rank 1 before the nerf I think, I don't remember, but before that it has been hitting four times at lower ranks. But, I don't think rank has anything to do with this since its charge range or its linear path doesn't change one bit.

And it works for both. It might work more with Colossus (which I use more due to that crappy Act 2 with Pierrot), since it probably has a bigger range due to its size (though I'm not sure if its size actually has any effect on its hitbox).

Explain.

Edit: to clarify what you're supposed to explain: why the hell is it not dealing 3 hits. The 2nd hit is dealt right before the animation ends. It doesn't even look like a 3rd is meant to be dealt.

  • Do note, same test on bears render same results. If there are any larger mobs that might make a difference to test on, do tell.

Unless you can tell me the exact calculations done by the server, this does not mean the skill could not possibly be rank dependent.

Using Pets, you can possibly make a third hit if your pet has an AoE knockback summon. If the enemy is knocked back on heavy stander, a possible third hit may occur after the second hit activates said stander.

As far as normal usage, It's hard to normally make 3 hits. As someone who has been using puppetry since Day 1, I can assure at one point it did hit 3 times, and it was rank F when it happened. This was done at point blank range/normal melee distance. There was an unknown nerf that literally changed the timing between hits. I don't know all the details of 100% third hit, nor do I know about patch notes.

I never had to use an AoE pet to do this, though.

My Scoots, Perseus, and Bone Drag don't knockback :c

Skill Name

Is this spelled correctly?

Kiyoura (talk)00:47, 26 October 2012

It's how it's spelled in KR. But who cares, the English name is completely different.

Actually, it's Overrun, not crash.

Oh wait. crap. I moved the page, not the redirect.

Lol
