As shown in Generation 1, after the Second Fomor War which was ended by Mores, the former Lord of Emain Macha, later revealed to be Ruairi's father, ordered Royal Alchemists to execute Mores's family in order to acquire the fame he had achieved. In an unfortunate events, Shiela was killed, however she managed to deliver her daughter Mari to Duncan along with a note explaining her death.

Soon after Shiela's death, Mores went into Math Dungeon to find the torque that Shiela lost, as well as taking vengeance on the supposed Fomors that killed his family. After encountering Ghost Armors, the Dark Lord interrupts the fight and shows him a vision in which humans were the ones who took the lives of his family. Enraged and driven into revenge, the Dark Lord takes Mores to Tir Na Nog to meet with Morrighan, who explains that she left Humanity and allied with the Fomorians. Mores soon joins the ranks of the Fomors in order to take revenge under all circumstances.

Unknowingly to the characters, Shiela, as a ghost, followed Mores into Math Dungeon, however no one could see her nor could she be heard. She learns that "Morrighan" is actually Cichol in disguise who had tricked her husband into aiding the Fomors. Shiela begs her husband to heed her, but Mores does not respond.

Trivia

• A Ghost that strongly resembles Shiela appears during Generation 7, near the Altars of Sun, Lightning, and Snow.
• Her race shown in the Character Tab is labeled "Ghost."
• During the G1 RP Quest Shiela had Rank F Rest, Rank E First Aid, Combat Mastery, Critical Hit, Rank C Composing, Rank B Weaving, and Rank 9 Tailoring, Healing.
