Lost Earring

A pretty earring with a red gem attached on the end. It was buried inside a snowman at Sidhe Sneachta. You can see the masterful craftsmanship from the intricate patterns. Unfortunately, it's missing the other piece so you won't be able to wear it.

• Can be stored in player's bank account (0g deposit fee).
• Resell Value is 0g. An NPC will offer 0g but attempting to complete the sale results in the following message "This item cannot be sold at the shop." and the sale cannot be completed.

Limitations

Cannot be equipped or traded.
Cannot be stored on pets.

Methods to Obtain

• While doing the "The Snowy Hills of Sidhe Sneachta" quest for the Generation 1 mainstream storyline.
  • The quest is received after a player's Human character reaches level 5 and logs out then back in or just changes channels.
  • The Lost Earring is obtained by hitting a certain snowman in Sidhe Sneachta.
    • The earring may drop underneath the snowman, so hold down the Alt button to see if it has dropped and to pick it up.
    • Repeatedly hitting the snowman will cause more earrings to drop, however, they cannot be given to other players or sold, so there is little point in collecting more than one.

Used In

• The "The Snowy Hills of Sidhe Sneachta" quest for the Generation 1 mainstream storyline.
  • With the Lost Earring in a Human player's inventory, talking with Duncan will complete "The Snowy Hills of Sidhe Sneachta" quest and the player will obtain 1500 experience points, 1700 Gold, 8 Mana Herb, and 2 Ability Point.
  • When a player starts talking to Duncan the earring will disappear from their inventory.
  • If the earring is lost before talking to Duncan, then go back and hit the snowman in Sidhe Sneachta again to obtain another one.

Trivia

• An in-game book, The Greedy Snow Imp, gives a possible explanation to why the Lost Earring is found in a snowman.
