Description

The top alchemist in the entire Aliech Kingdom glances at you with a curious expression. The thin wrinkles around his forehead make him seem wise and experienced.

Lennox is a member of the Royal Alchemists. He appears in Tara Rath Royal Castle's first floor during Generation 12.

History

Lennox is one of The Four Vates, the most prominent Alchemists of the Royal Regime, and is also Leymore's father.

Mainstream Story

Generation 12: Return of the Hero

Lennox is given a letter from Helvetius, regarding the war between the Royal and Corrupt Alchemists. Lennox agrees to the conflict and is willing to stop the war by all means.

Lennox then sends the Shadow Hero to Jarlath, and since he refuses to talk to the Royal Alchemists, Lennox believes that Jarlath would speak to the Shadow Hero. After the deed is done, Lennox remarks an investigation in the Shadow Realm with Leymore.

It is revealed that Lennox is Leymore's father, but the two are involved in a conflict with each other. Leymore claims that during the Tragedy of Emain Macha, Lennox had complete jurisdiction over the attacking Royal Alchemists, but he refused to do anything to stop the war. In addition, Leymore is dissatisfied with Lennox's use of Alchemy. Therefore, Leymore had completely disowned his father and left him.

After learning that Nuadha has returned, Lennox suggests to heed him. Meanwhile, he learns that the Royal Alchemists are using the war as an excuse to get rid of the Corrupt Alchemists. Lennox then tries to plead the king as an attempt to stop the war.

When Nuadha had begun his reign, Lennox becomes curious. After reading The Battle of Mag Tuireadh, he learns the truth behind Nuadha's anger. Lennox then suggests talking to Morrighan about the issue, but warns that she may not be too happy with the conflict.

Unfortunately, Lennox had failed to stop the Royal/Corrupt Alchemist War, but decides to take action in this. Lennox then gives the Shadow Hero a Tower Cylinder for use in the war.
During All Out Attack!, Lennox comes face to face with his son. He remarks that he desperately needs Leymore's help, and he says he is only fulfilling his duty as a Royal Alchemist and also still disagrees with Lennox's ways of Alchemy. Cai steps in the argument and reminds them that they are in a battlefield.
After defeating Helvetius, Lennox states that the Corrupt Alchemists have lost and calls Helvetius an "old friend." He finds the remark of being an "old friend" strange but feels that hell isn't going to be boring. After Helvetius commits suicide by imploding the Dry Ovens, Lennox tries to save a trapped Jenna, only to get killed in the process. His last words to a mourning Leymore are that he wanted his son to understand his ways, but had thought his son would understand in time and asks for forgiveness.

Dorren states that her, Lennox, Helvetius, and an unidentified person were a group called the "Four Vates." They summoned by the Royal Regime to heal a dying Eabha by all means necessary, and performed the Homunculus. However, they disbanded when the Royal Regime banned all traces of the Homunculus.

Trivia

Lennox is the inventor of the Tower Cylinder, and states they were only used for peaceful applications. Ironically, Tower Cylinders are only used for combat purposes.
After completing All Out Attack!, Lennox's room is locked forever.
- Lennox can be seen in a Hide-like state inside his room.
  - This is due to the old Elf Hide action completely hiding the character; when the action was adjusted to only make the players transparent, this change was also reflected on Lennox.
