I did not visit the monkey marking to get the Rano Explorer title. Did this happen to anyone else? --Jgmartin 06:53, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Are you sure you didn't? Maybe you skip past it and didn't notice? --Kevin 06:55, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Im sure, I havent ever been to the nubes moutains yet, maybe it was a slight glitch with my character? --Jgmartin 21:01, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Maybe the Monkey mark is for Physis and not Rano--Dtdsora AKA Viri The White Knight-in-training 01:34, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

yay?

I'm not sure if this applies to connous or physis, because I haven't tested it out, but me being the super [not] awesome noob, I accidently realized that when you die there's the option "Revive at previous Warp Point"..That includes the last landmark you passed over. So far I've only tested this with the Human landmark, seeing as I didn't even try to. But I guess I'll try and test it out for the rest of the landmarks....then again someone probably already figured this out >.>--♫ѕταя♪ 16:02, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Revive at previous Warp Point will revive you at the last landmark visited, provided you passed over one before you died. =P --Aramet 16:15, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Not required, just required.

"A player will receive the "Explorer of Rano" title if he/she visits each landmark once.

Human Mark Flower Mark Sheep Mark Sun Mark Snake Mark Bird Mark Tree Mark Monkey Mark Monkey Mark is not required for Explorer of Rano Title"

Shouldn't something be done about this Monkey Mark thing? I've confirmed that it isn't required to get the title with my elf.

The Caves

Or Cave. To the West, Nubes Mountains, the "lower" green circle is just water as far as I can tell. And Since you can't fly on that map, that's the only thing I can think of. I'm not quite sure how to go about editing the map so if someone wants to do that Rydrion 02:01, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Okay I'll update it soon. ---Angevon 03:37, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Solea Star Mark

I'm pretty sure that the Star Mark (although the other mark near the caves, the Monkey Mark, is said not to be required) is counted as one of the necessary Land Marks to visit in order to obtain the "Explorer of Rano" title. I remember (or am at least pretty confident that I remember) going to each Land Mark in Rano without gaining the title, and being very confused by it. As I remember it (this was a while ago on my elf, i believe as i remembered the star mark at the last minute by having seen it with my human already), I went through the caves to Solea and obtained the title upon approaching the Star Mark. Has anyone else tried/confirmed this? I noticed that all of the Land Mark references failed to mention the Star Mark, so I added them to the list, but it would be good to have multiple accounts of this. I am quite confident of this, however, but the information can always be removed if proven otherwise. If anyone without the title (and who has not been to Solea) would like to test this, it might be a useful bit of information if enough people can verify it.--Wolf Venom 22:31, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

From what I remember, my elf has never been to Solea, let alone the Star Mark, and he received the "Explorer of Rano" title. --Aramet (Talk) 22:38, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
I too, have never had my elf even pass through Nubes mountains, but i still have 'Explorer of Rano'. --FFVIISephy 03:41, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Map Update

Removed the 2nd cave as suggested above, and added the bridge to Courcle. I've never actually seen the Rano bridge to Courcle, so if it's in the wrong spot, please tell me. ---Angevon 22:48, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

It looks right to me. The spot has some telltale stones near it if you want to look for it, just bout at the center of your circle. Rydrion 22:03, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Epic Map

I ran across this map when looking for information on a Taiwanese wiki(there's also others for Connous, Physis, Courcle, and Zardin). I can't read a thing, but if anyone can translate it, maybe there's some useful information? --KaedeKit 01:34, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Awesome Map. By just looking at the map it obviously shows landmarks, wild horse/ostrich paths, monsters (gray patches), bosses, and continuous monkey/bird/etc poles (colored strokes). I'll save this map and try to translate it to my best of knowledge. --₣ai₤ 02:39, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
That would be useful. I just came here to ask if there was a map which marked where you could explore for things such as chests. Failologist, if you can translate it and post it, you, honestly, will become one of my favorite editors here. --FFVIISephy
No need to translate, plenty of maps from modding site lol. Also remember the maps are not really useful unless you post the full resolution. ;)--Hengsheng120(talkcontribs) 17:27, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Frequency of Field Bosses

I believe this is pretty useful knowledge to know for those who choose to sketch the field bosses of Rano for their Falcon/Beast transformation quests. I got it directly from Nexon itself under the Mabinogi strategy guides. So I just wanted to pass this on.

There's also information for the Sandworm, but I chose not to post that. However, they spawn 1-2 times a day in real time, if you still want to know. --Phunkie 08:26, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Where's the Exploration Maps?

I recall somewhere in the wiki, there exists a map tha shows all the exploration points in the game.

TNinja (talk)04:01, 7 September 2014

Isn't it right here on this page for rano? The other pages have their points as well.
