Just as a suggestion, I'm wondering if there shouldn't be a standard that pictures for clothing ought to be in lighter colors. It's not that I have anything against all-black and mostly-black (a few of my characters dress that way), but as a referential image a dark set of clothing can be difficult to define because of the low contrast, and I look to these images to get a good idea what the clothing set looks like. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ArcoJawa (talkcontribs) . there's actually a policy in place saying black clothes are off limits, so if you see them and have the same item that displays better detail feel free to replace them.

"Avoid a purely monochromatic, full-white, full-black, and/or white/black color scheme. With these color sets, it is difficult to distinguish between the dye-able parts and the gears' details are usually lost. Even if only one part is black or white, we don't want it if it makes intricate parts of the clothing difficult or impossible to see. "

The only exceptions are equipment pieces that are fixed black, like the trim on the Tioz armor. As for it strictly being in light colors, i don't think thats a good idea as even light colors can diminish detail due to how that particular equipment piece is designed to show highlights and shadows.

For example, the Short Swordsmanship School Uniform (F) there are details on the collar that are hard to capture even when it's not white. Also, please sign your comments.

Can you dye cloth parts of light & heavy armor?

If the armor in question has parts that are of a cloth/leather pallete, you can dye it. Sometimes it's fixed, such as Turban Shell Armor, in where the body piece can not be dyed, period.

Idle Poses

I'm wondering if there should be a category for idle poses. There's one for magic clothing but there hasn't been anything added to the list in a while. The list of clothing for idle poses is still growing, more recently in the past year. I think making a category for it would make it easier for people who want to search up idle clothing exclusively; For instance, if they don't know the name of the piece they wouldn't have to search through all the different types of clothing.
