Basic Information

  • Control Bars are weapons used to control marionettes.
  • Control Bars are required to use Puppetry Skills.
  • Control Bars are classified as One-Handed Weapons.
    • Despite this, they cannot be equipped along with a shield, regardless of race.
  • Damage done with control bars is influenced by the user's strength and dexterity.
    • Every 3.5 Str adds +1 to Maximum Control Bar Damage; +5 Str adds +1 to Minimum Control Bar Damage.
    • Every 3.5 Dex adds +1 to Maximum Control Bar Damage; +5 Dex adds +1 to Minimum Control Bar Damage.
      • The exact formula for maximum control bar damage is (Str + Dex - 20) / 3.5. Example: If a player has 50 strength and 120 dexterity, it would be (50+120) / 3.5 = 48 additional maximum damage.
      • The exact formula for minimum control bar damage is (Str + Dex - 20) / 5. Example: If a player has 50 strength and 120 dexterity, it would be (50+120) / 5 = 34 additional minimum damage.
  • Unlike most melee weapons, control bars have injury rates.
  • All control bars except for the Demonic Illusion Control Bar are Very Fast 3 Hit and have 0%~20% Injury Rate, 10% Balance, 10% Critical, and 5 Upgrades.
  • Cannot be Special Upgraded except for the Demonic Illusion Control Bar and Celtic Control Bar.
